Custom hoodies, made in our Rawalpindi factory

Saad Enterprises is a hoodie manufacturer in Pakistan, making custom hoodies in bulk for companies, schools, universities, sports teams, and events. We cut, stitch,h and brand every hoodie in our own factory near I-10, Rawalpindi, so you get factory prices, a physical sample before production, and the same quality on every re-order.

This guide explains what you can order, which fabric and weight to choose, and how to brand your hoodies so the logo lasts as long as the garment.

Hoodies we make

• Pullover hoodies: the classic style with a kangaroo pocket and drawcord hood.
• Zip-up hoodies: full-zip, easier to wear over uniforms and to layer at work.
• Sweatshirts: crew-neck, no hood. A neat option for offices and schools.
• School and college hoodies: in-house or school colours, as part of the school winter uniform, or as leavers’ and university hoodies.
• Team and sports hoodies: for clubs, academies and tournaments, often ordered with sports uniforms and tracksuits.
• Company and staff hoodies: branded winter wear for offices, factories, delivery riders and field teams, alongside our corporate uniforms.
• Event and promotional hoodies: for launches, marathons and campus events. Pair them with matching custom caps.

Hoodie fabrics compared

Fabric	Feel	Best for	Branding that suits it
Cotton fleece (brushed inside)	Soft, warm, breathable	Premium staff and school hoodies, winter wear	Embroidery, screen print, DTF
Cotton-polyester fleece (CVC or 50/50)	Soft, keeps shape, shrinks less	Most bulk orders: companies, events, teams	Embroidery, screen print, DTF
French terry (looped inside)	Lighter, smooth, less bulky	Spring and autumn, indoor wear, layering	Embroidery, screen print
100% polyester fleece	Light, quick-drying, sporty	Sports teams and all-over designs	Sublimation, DTF

For most bulk orders, a cotton-polyester fleece gives the best balance. It feels like cotton, washes better, and holds its shape and colour longer.

Which GSM to choose

GSM (grams per square metre) tells you how heavy and warm a hoodie is.

Weight	Typical GSM	Best for
Lightweight	240–280	Indoor wear, spring and autumn, layering under jackets
Midweight	300–340	All-round choice for staff, events and teams
Heavyweight	350–420+	Rawalpindi and Islamabad winters, northern areas, premium streetwear

For winter uniforms in the twin cities and the north, we usually recommend 320–380 GSM brushed fleece. Always ask for the GSM on the quote, because a lower price often means a lighter fabric.

Branding options for custom hoodies

Method	Best for	How it looks	Good to know
Embroidery	Chest logos, names, premium staff hoodies	Raised, textured, very durable	Keep chest logos to about 8–10 cm wide on fleece
Screen printing	Large back designs, big runs in 1–4 colours	Bold, solid colours	Best value when many hoodies share one design
DTF printing	Full-colour logos, photos, small runs	Sharp detail, any number of colours	No set-up per colour, so it suits smaller orders
Sublimation	All-over designs on polyester	Colour dyed into the fabric, nothing to crack	Only works on light-coloured polyester

Many orders combine methods: an embroidered logo on the chest and a printed design on the back. We do embroidery and printing in-house, so both happen under one roof.

What separates a good hoodie from a cheap one

Two hoodies can look the same online and wear very differently. Check these details on your sample:

• A double-layer hood: it holds its shape and doesn’t sag.
• Ribbed cuffs and hem with stretch: they spring back instead of going loose after a few washes.
• Reinforced seams: overlocked and cover-stitched, with bar-tacks at the pocket corners.
• Eyelets for the drawcord: metal or stitched eyelets stop the cord holes from tearing.
• A pre-shrunk, anti-pill fabric: it keeps its size and stays smooth after washing.
• Neck labels and size tags: a woven brand label or printed neck tag gives a finished look.

Sizing and fit

Hoodies come in two main fits: a regular fit for staff and school wear, and an oversized fit that’s popular for events and university hoodies. We make sizes from XS to 3XL. Ask for a size set so your team can try them on before you confirm the size breakdown.

When comparing size charts, check three measurements: chest width, body length, and sleeve length. Hoodies that look right on the chart but run short in the body are the most common complaint.

How ordering custom hoodies works

1. Send your requirements: the style, quantity, colours, and your logo, on WhatsApp or through our contact page.
2. Fabric swatches and quote: we suggest a fabric and GSM, and quote with the branding method.
3. Sample: we make a sample with your logo for approval.
4. Bulk production: cutting, stitching, embroidery or printing, then quality checks against the approved sample.
5. Delivery: across Pakistan, or collection from our Rawalpindi, Islamabad,d or Faisalabad office.

When to order for winter

Demand for hoodies peaks from October to January. To have hoodies in hand for the cold months in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, ad and the north, place bulk orders by September or early October.

Why order from a factory in Rawalpindi

• Factory-direct pricing: no middleman between you and the stitching floor.
• Small minimum orders: usually from 30–50 pieces per design, so a single office or team can order.
• See before you buy: visit our uniform factory in Rawalpindi, feel the fleece, and approve a sample.
• One supplier for everything: hoodies, custom T-shirts and polos, caps and uniforms with the same logo and colours.

Frequently asked questions

What GSM is best for a winter hoodie in Pakistan?

For Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and the north, 320–380 GSM brushed fleece is warm enough for winter without feeling stiff. For milder cities or indoor wear, 280–320 GSM is usually enough.

What is the minimum order for custom hoodies?

At Saad Enterprises, bulk hoodie orders usually start from 30–50 pieces per design. The exact minimum depends on the fabric and branding method, and we confirm it in your quote.

Is embroidery or printing better for hoodie logos?

Embroidery is best for small chest logos and premium staff hoodies, because it lasts the life of the garment. Screen printing suits large back designs on bigger orders, and DTF suits full-colour designs on smaller runs.

Do hoodies shrink after washing?

Cotton fleece can shrink a few percent if it isn’t pre-shrunk. Ask for pre-shrunk fabric, wash hoodies inside out in cool water, and avoid high-heat drying to protect both the fit and the print.

The best fabric for chef coats is a cotton-rich drill or 65/35 poly-cotton twill at 180–220 GSM. It breathes in a hot kitchen, protects against splashes, and survives daily washing. Waiters and front-of-house staff need something different: lighter poly-cotton shirts with poly-viscose waistcoats that stay smart through a long service.

We make chef coats, waiter uniforms and aprons for restaurants, cafes and hotels at our factory near I-10, Rawalpindi. This guide is what we walk restaurant owners through before a bulk order: the right fabric for each role, what works near a tandoor, and how to keep uniforms looking clean.

Which fabric for which role

Role and item	Recommended fabric	Typical weight	Why it works
Chef coat	Cotton-rich drill or 65/35 poly-cotton twill	180–220 GSM	Breathes, blocks splashes, takes hot washing
Kitchen trousers	Poly-cotton twill, elastic or drawstring waist	200–240 GSM	Comfortable on long shifts, hides spills in dark colours
Bib aprons (kitchen)	Heavy cotton canvas or poly-cotton drill	220–300 GSM	Takes heat, grease and constant washing
Waist aprons (waiters)	Poly-cotton drill or denim	200–260 GSM	Holds shape, pockets for order pads and pens
Waiter shirts	Poly-cotton poplin, or stretch poplin	110–135 GSM	Light, cool, looks crisp all evening
Waistcoats and host uniforms	Poly-viscose suiting	220–280 GSM	Smart drape, wrinkle-resistant
Kitchen helpers and dishwashers	Poly-cotton twill in a dark colour	180–220 GSM	Durable and easy to keep looking clean

Cotton or polyester near the tandoor?

This matters more in Pakistani kitchens than almost anywhere else. Tandoors, open grills, and karahi stations put cooks right next to open flame.

Polyester melts when it catches fire, and molten fabric sticks to skin. Cotton chars instead of melting. That makes it the safer choice for cooks working at the tandoor, grill, or open burners. For these stations, choose 100% cotton or a cotton-rich blend (60% cotton or more).

For prep, pastry, and cold kitchens, a 65/35 poly-cotton is fine. It costs less, creases less,s and lasts longer through washing.

What makes a good chef coat

A chef coat isn’t just a white jacket. Every detail has a job:

• Double-breasted front: two layers of fabric shield the chest from heat and splashes. The front can also be re-buttoned to hide a stain mid-service.
• Long or three-quarter sleeves: they protect arms from hot oil and steam. Three-quarter sleeves stay clear of food and flames.
• Stud or knot buttons: they survive hot industrial washing better than plastic buttons, and can be undone quickly in an emergency.
• Breathable panels: mesh panels under the arms or across the back keep cooks cooler on long shifts.
• A thermometer or pen pocket on the sleeve, where it doesn’t catch on anything.

See our full range of chef uniforms, from classic white coats to black and charcoal styles.

Stains, colours and laundry

Oil, turmeric and gravy stains are the main reason restaurant uniforms get replaced early. Three choices make the biggest difference.

1. Choose the colour by role.

Role	Colour that works best	Why
Head chef and cooks	White	Looks hygienic, and white cotton or poly-cotton can be bleached
Kitchen trousers and aprons	Black, charcoal or houndstooth check	Hides oil and spice stains between washes
Waiters	Black, white or your brand colour, with a dark apron	The apron takes the spills, so shirts stay clean
Helpers and dishwashers	Dark grey, navy or maroon	Looks clean for longer in a wet, greasy area

2. Ask for a stain-release finish on chef coats and aprons. It helps oil and food stains wash out instead of setting into the fabric. Like any finish, it fades over many washes, so ask how long it lasts.

3. Wash the right way. Wash kitchen whites hot, at 60°C, to remove grease and bacteria. Wash coloured uniforms cooler, inside out, so they don’t fade. Fabric rated 4 or above for colourfastness to washing (ISO 105-C06) keeps its colour far longer.

For front-of-house staff, see our waiter uniforms: shirts, waistcoats and aprons matched to your brand colours.

One look for the whole restaurant

Guests notice when the kitchen, waiters and front desk look like one team. Plan all the uniforms together:

• Pick one colour palette. For example: white chef coats, black aprons, and black waiter shirts with a brand-colour waistcoat.
• Use the same logo everywhere. Embroider it on the chef coat chest, the waiter shirt or waistcoat, and the apron. Embroidery outlasts printing in hot washes.
• Add names on chef coats. It’s a small touch that guests and staff both notice.
• Cover hair in the kitchen. Chef caps, skull caps, ps or hairnets keep food safe, and food inspectors check for them.

How many sets does each staff member need?

We usually suggest three sets per kitchen staff member (one worn, one in the wash, one spare) and two sets per waiter. Kitchen uniforms get dirty faster and are washed hotter, so they wear out sooner.

Checklist before you order restaurant uniforms

• Cotton-rich fabric chosen for tandoor, grill and open-flame stations
• Fabric and GSM stated on the quote for every item
• Colour chosen by role (whites for cooks, dark trousers and aprons)
• Stain-release finish on chef coats and aprons, with its wash rating
• Logo position and size approved on a sample
• Sizes collected for every staff member, with a few spares
• Three sets per kitchen staff and two per waiter budgeted

Frequently asked questions

What is the best fabric for chef coats in a hot kitchen?

A cotton-rich drill or a 65/35 poly-cotton twill at 180–220 GSM. For cooks at a tandoor, grill, or open flame, choose 100% cotton or a cotton-rich blend, because polyester can melt if it catches fire.

Why are chef coats double-breasted?

The double front gives two layers of fabric against heat and hot splashes. It can also be re-buttoned the other way to hide a stain during service.

Which colour hides stains best on restaurant uniforms?

Black, charcoal, and houndstooth check hide oil and spice stains best, so they suit kitchen trousers and aprons. White chef coats show stains but can be bleached, which keeps them looking hygienic.

What is the minimum order for restaurant uniforms?

For most hospitals in Pakistan, the best fabric for medical scrubs is a 65/35 poly-cotton at 150–180 GSM. It survives hot hospital laundry, keeps its colour and costs less to replace. Where comfort matters most, for long shifts or doctors who want a modern fit, a poly-viscose stretch blend is the upgrade.

We make scrubs, lab coats and patient gowns for hospitals and clinics at our factory in Rawalpindi. This guide covers what procurement teams should compare before a bulk order: the fabric, how it handles laundry, which finishes are worth paying for, and how to set up colour coding.

Scrub fabrics compared

Fabric	Feel	Survives hot washing	Best for	Typical weight
65/35 poly-cotton	Smooth, slightly crisp	Very well: holds colour and shape	Wards, OPD, nursing staff, high-volume orders	150–180 GSM
100% cotton	Soft, very breathable	Poorly: shrinks and fades faster	Short-term use, staff with sensitive skin	140–170 GSM
Poly-viscose with stretch (TRS)	Soft, drapes well, moves with you	Well, at moderate temperatures	Doctors, consultants, private hospitals	170–200 GSM
100% polyester microfibre	Smooth, quick-drying, can feel warm	Very well	Budget orders, support staff	120–160 GSM

In most cases, a hospital gets the best value from poly-cotton for most staff and a stretch blend for doctors. Both can be made in the same colour family.

The laundry test every scrub fabric must pass

Hospital scrubs are washed far hotter and far more often than home clothes. UK hospital laundry guidance (HTM 01-04), which many hospitals follow, uses thermal disinfection at 65°C for 10 minutes or 71°C for 3 minutes. Cheap fabric shrinks, fades, or pills within weeks at those temperatures.

Before approving a bulk order:

1. Ask for the colourfastness rating. Look for ISO 105-C06 (colourfastness to washing) at 4 or above.
2. Wash a sample 20 times in your own laundry, then compare it with an unwashed piece for shade, shrinkage and pilling.
3. Check the seams after washing. Puckered or split seams mean poor thread or stitching.

Antimicrobial and fluid-resistant finishes: what they actually do

These finishes are useful, but they’re often oversold.

• Antimicrobial finish (for example silver-ion treatments) reduces bacteria and odour building up on the fabric between washes. It does not prevent infections, and it doesn’t replace hand hygiene or protective gowns. The treatment also wears off over time, so ask how many washes it’s rated for.
• Fluid-resistant finish makes splashes bead and roll off instead of soaking in. That’s helpful in OPD and emergency. It isn’t a barrier against blood or body fluids, though. Where staff need real protection, use certified protective gowns. In the U,S these are rated under AAMI PB70, levels 1 to 4.

Our advice: pay for these finishes where staff are exposed to splashes, and stick with good poly-cotton everywhere else.

Colour coding by department

Colour coding helps patients see who they’re speaking to, and helps managers spot staff outside their area. There’s no national standard in Pakistan, so each hospital sets its own. Here’s a common starting point:

Role	Common colour choice
Doctors and consultants	Navy, wine or charcoal
Nurses	Ceil blue, teal or white
Operation theatre	Green or royal blue
Lab and radiology	Grey or light blue
Housekeeping and support	Maroon, brown or grey

Keep the scheme to four or five colours, so staff can tell them apart easily. Order every colour from the same fabric quality, so all departments wear and wash the same way. For cleaning and support teams, see our housekeeping uniforms.

Lab coats, OT suits and patient gowns

• Doctor lab coats: poly-cotton twill at 180–220 GSM, knee length, with three pockets and a pen slot. Choose buttons or snaps that survive hot washing.
• OT suits: a V-neck top and drawstring trousers in a cotton-rich or poly-cotton fabric. Plain styling with no loose trims, and a colour that’s different from ward scrubs.
• Patient gowns: soft poly-cotton with back ties, plus shoulder snaps for easy access to IV lines and monitoring. Order extra, because gowns go through the laundry fastest.

Sizing and branding for a mixed team

Hospital teams range from slim junior nurses to senior consultants, so one cut rarely fits everyone. Offer two fits, a straight unisex cut and a fitted cut, in sizes XS to 3XL. Ask your supplier for a size set, so staff can try on before you finalise the size breakdown.

Branding should be neat and wash-proof. Embroider the hospital logo on the left chest and the staff name or department above the pocket. Embroidery outlasts printing in hot washes. Keep the same logo size and position across every department.

Procurement checklist for hospital uniforms

• Fabric blend and GSM stated on the quote for each item
• Colourfastness rating checked (ISO 105-C06, 4 or above)
• Sample washed 20 times in your own laundry
• Colour scheme agreed for each department
• Antimicrobial or fluid-resistant finish only where it’s needed, with its wash rating
• Size set tried on and size breakdown confirmed
• Logo and name embroidery approved on a sample
• Re-order terms agreed, so new staff get the same shade

Frequently asked questions

What is the best fabric for medical scrubs in Pakistan’s climate?

A 65/35 poly-cotton at 150–180 GSM suits most hospitals. It stays comfortable in heat, survives hot laund,ry and keeps its colour. For doctors who want a softer, modern fit, choose a poly-viscose stretch blend.

Do antimicrobial scrubs prevent infections?

No. An antimicrobial finish reduces bacteria and odour on the fabric between washes, but it isn’t protective equipment. Hand hygiene, proper laundering, and certified gowns are still what protect staff and patients.

Can you embroider our hospital logo and staff names?

Yes. We embroider hospital logos, department names and staff names on scrubs and lab coats. A sample comes first for your approval, then every bulk piece is matched to it.

What is the minimum order for hospital uniforms?

At Saad Enterprises, bulk orders usually start from 30–50 sets per design. The exact minimum depends on the garment, fa,bric and branding, and we confirm it on your quote.

How our supply service works

1. Samples at your office

Tell us what you need and where you are. Our team brings fabric swatches and sample garments to your office in Rawalpindi or Islamabad, so the people who’ll wear the uniform can see and try them. You can also visit our factory on IJP Road.

2. Wholesale pricing direct from the factory

4. Packed for every branch and department

For organisations with several offices, campuses or sites, we pack orders by branch, department or employee name, with a list for each delivery. It saves your admin team hours of sorting.

Inside our Rawalpindi factory

Every order moves through the same six stages under one roof. Nothing is handed to an outside workshop, which is how we keep quality and timing under control.

1. Fabric checking: each roll is checked for shade, weight (GSM), and faults before cutting.
2. Pattern and cutting: garments are cut to graded size patterns, so a size 38 shirt in this order fits like the size 38 in your last one.
3. Stitching: skilled tailors stitch each garment type on the machines it needs, from single and double needle to overlock and bar-tack.
4. Embroidery and printing: logos are embroidered on computerised multi-head machines, or printed by screen, DTF or sublimation.
5. Quality check: pieces are measured against the size chart and checked against your approved sample.
6. Finishing and packing: pressing, folding and packing by size, department or employee name, as you need.

Quality standards we build in

• Reinforced stress points: bar-tacks at pocket corners, belt loops and flies, and double-needle seams on workwear and school trousers.
• Consistent shades: we match each bulk batch to your approved swatch, and keep that swatch for re-orders.
• Accurate sizing: we measure against your size chart and offer size sets, so staff or students can try sizes before you order.
• Durable branding: embroidery is digitised for your fabric, so logos stay flat and neat after washing.
• Clean finishing: loose threads trimmed, buttons secured, and every piece pressed before packing.

Fabrics we work with

Fabric	Used for	Typical weight

Factory-direct or bazaar trader: what’s the difference?

Many uniform shops in Raja Bazaar and Saddar buy from workshops and resell. That works for a few pieces, but bulk buyers notice the difference:

Uniform factory (manufacturer)	Shop or trader
Price	Factory rate, with no middleman margin	Includes the reseller’s margin
Samples	A pre-production sample with your logo	Usually off-the-shelf pieces only
Re-orders	Same fabric, shade and size chart on file	Depends on what stock is available
Customisation	Your design, colours and logo	Limited to the styles in stock
Branding	Embroidery and printing done in-house	Often sent out to another workshop
Accountability	One party responsible from cutting to delivery	Responsibility is split between shop and workshop
